“Over recent months, my family and I have had the opportunity to use Sashman to repair and maintain various windows in our heritage-listed, Victorian-era town house. Following detailed measurements taken beforehand, the team returned with the made-up frames and fitted them with skill and professionalism. Where maintenance was needed, the same professionalism ensured that the jobs went smoothly and with a minimum of fuss. I am very happy to endorse Sashman as a company that does what it says it will do, and does it well!”
“I would like to extend my thanks to you and your team for the fantastic job you did for me recently. I found my experience working with Sashman to be “pain free”. I could not fault your workmanship and the pride you took in your work and also the site was left clean after the works had been completed. Also, it was great that you honoured your installation time as per your quote.
I look forward to working with you again on future projects.”
“We used Sashman recently for a Level Developments project refurbishing double hung windows on a heritage listed property in Brighton. The project was completed efficiently, and the final result from Sashman was above our expectations. All the windows which were over 100 years old, now look like new! We are very pleased and would recommend Sashman to other developers.”
“My house was built in 1880 and has four large sash windows that had not been treated well during their 134 year life-time. On contacting Adam at Sashman, I received a detailed rundown of the service they could offer and immediately felt confident that I had chosen the right company for the job. The team were very efficient and did a great job on the repair. It is a real pleasure using the windows as they were intended – no more jamming, sliding, falling – they glide effortlessly. Thank you Sashman.”
“I had double-hung sash windows with bars that were need of serious rejuvenation. We obtained a quote to replace the frames, sashes and bars with double-glazed panes, which was quite expensive. Then we approached Adam Downie from Sashman. Adam suggested replacing only the sashes, putting in single large, double-glazed panes with stick-on bars. This resulted in a significant saving, and would actually insulate better. So we decided to accept Adam’s proposal. I visited Adam’s factory where Luke took me through the myriad of options and technical tradeoffs. The work was completed with a minimum of fuss always with respect for property and environment. In the end the result is aesthetically pleasing, functional and well-engineered. It has been a pleasure dealing with Adam and Luke.”
